318 Missed Appointments
Woodlands Park Health Centre has reported that 318 appointments were missed by patients over the last two months, adding additional strain onto NHS resources.
Missed appointments, also known as “Did Not Attends” (DNAs), prevent other patients from accessing vital care and contribute to longer waiting times. With NHS services already under pressure, each missed appointment represents wasted clinical time that could have been used for someone in need.
Patients are encouraged to use online booking systems or contact the practice directly to manage their appointments effectively. Reducing DNAs will help ensure timely care for all and ease the burden on overstretched NHS services.
The Practice does understand that plans can change, sometimes at short notice. However, please let us know as soon as you can if you can no longer attend you appointment so that we can firstly, reallocate your appointment to another patient in need; and secondly, so that we can re-book you into the next available appointment.
